I wanted to drop a little note about my last #designrespect post. If you haven’t read it, I urge you to do so. I would love your kind take on the subject. http://goo.gl/sd776B

You’ll notice that there are a few comments, for which I am forever grateful. Interestingly, for every comment you see on this post, there at least 3 other notes, emails, direct messages and more that I’ve received on the subject of cyber bullying. One of the points I’ve come to appreciate is expressed in my post: Even if you’re right, even if your wronged, don’t do it. This ‘take it to the streets’ attitude has manifested itself in comment sections, Facebook, Twitter rants and Instagram takedowns. I’ve seen artists and designers I respect do this and folks, it is just wrong and stinky.
As artists, we know how negative energy effects us. One of my closest cyberpals has had her work copied by more people than anyone I know. She does what she can to try to take down the most egregious offenders, but ultimately, I’ve seen this very well-known designer do two things…
